How to Replace a Single Transmitter

Use the following directions to replace a single TireMinder transmitter

  1. Remove the transmitter you are replacing from the valve stem.
  2. While in Monitoring Mode, press and hold the left and right buttons until you see all 22 tire positions.
  3. Press and release the right button and navigate to the position you wish to replace.
    Once at this position, the light on the top of the monitor should be green and you should have a pressure reading.
  4. Press and hold the center button for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, you will see the green light turn red and “— PSI” will be displayed.
  5. Attach your new transmitter to the valve stem. Within 5 to 15 seconds you will see a pressure reading and a green light on the top of the monitor.
  6. Press and hold the left and right buttons for 5 seconds until the 22 tire positions disappear and you are left with only the previously programmed tire positions.

First use the “Removing a Transmitter” instructions to delete your current transmitter, then use the “Adding a Transmitter” instructions to successfully replace a single transmitter.

Removing a Transmitter – How to Remove a Transmitter from the TireMinder® TPMS App

Use the following directions to remove a transmitter from the TireMinder® TPMS App.

  1. Open the TireMinder® TPMS App.
  2. Touch “Learn” on the bottom bar.
  3. Towards the center of the screen you will see two buttons labeled “Learning Mode” and “Delete Mode”, click “Delete Mode”.
  4. Touch the transmitter you would like to remove from your system.
  5. Once touched, the transmitter will disappear from the display and be deleted from the TireMinder® TPMS App.

Adding a Transmitter – How to Add a Transmitter to the TireMinder® TPMS App

Use the following directions to add a transmitter to the TireMinder® TPMS App. Please make sure there is a CR1632 battery in the transmitter before starting the process below.

  1. Open the TireMinder® TPMS App.
  2. Touch “Learn” on the bottom bar.
  3. Towards the center of the screen you will see two buttons labeled “Learning Mode” and “Delete Mode”, make sure “Learning Mode” is highlighted. If “Learning Mode” is not highlighted, press on “Learning Mode”.
  4. Touch the tire position you would like to add a transmitter to. Once touched, you will see “Learning” on the display.
  5. Attach the transmitter to valve stem of the corresponding tire position (if you clicked the driver’s front, add the transmitter to your driver’s front tire).
  6. Once the transmitter is on the tire, allow up to 20 seconds for the TireMinder® TPMS App to find the sensor and display it on the screen. Once found, the tire position will turn green and display the tire’s pressure and temperature on the screen.
  7. You may add as many transmitters using the same directions as above (up to 22 in total).
